THE LIQUID FACELIFT IS THE NEW FACELIFT
THE LIQUID FACELIFT IS THE NEW FACELIFT
Many patients want to look refreshed and youthful without having to go under the knife and endure a painful recovery. They also insist on the fact that they want to achieve a natural enhancment, rather than an obvious appearance of having had surgery. What they are looking for is called a liquid facelift.
Liquid facelifts can restore lost volume, diminish lines and wrinkles, redefine the jaw line and cheekbones and lift sagging brows.
I wrote an article about it on the blog before but since it is a highly requested treatment,I thought I would take you through the procedure again. If you want to take a look at my previous article, here it is
If you have a question, feel free to leave a comment right here on the blog and I will get back to you as soon as I can. To book an appointment for a liquid facelift or any of the other treatments and procedures I offer at Medi-Sculpt, please call us on 0861 003 007.
Together during your consultation, we will discuss what aspects of your face you wish to alter and what improvement you are expecting from the procedure which will then help me determine whether a liquid facelift is the right procedure to meet your needs and desires.
I always make sure that each liquid facelift is tailor made and perfectly adapted to my patient’s particular needs. The treatment is a multi-layered approach based on my patient’s areas of concern and goals. It usually involves the use of Restylane to provide volume and fill in wrinkles as well as Botox which relaxes the muscles responsible for the formation of the bothersome lines and wrinkles, in particular by the brows and around the mouth. Combining these two products ensures optimum and long term rejuvenation results that are overall more satisfactory for my patients and make more of a difference than just using each product independently. For more info on what I can achieve using Restylane, visit my blog
However, I always tell my patients to keep in mind that the results of a liquid facelift are not as dramatic as those a surgical facelift can achieve. So if you are seeking obvious, drastic changes, a surgical facelift might be a better option for you.
I how perform a liquid facelift
Because I customize the procedure to suit each and every one of my patients, I do not ever follow a standard method. I do sometimes apply a topical anesthetic beforehand, depending upon my patient’s sensitivity level. I then inject Restylane and Botox separately into the appropriate area or areas of the face that we want to improve. Even if you are receiving a few injections, each injection only takes a minute or two – therefore the overall treatment time is typically very short and so is the recovery: bruising and swelling usually disappear within 48 hours after the procedure and you get to enjoy life with your brand new smooth and plumped up skin!
What you can expect from a liquid facelift
On average, my patients get to enjoy the results of the liquid facelift for approximately one year, however, it does depend on the patient’s skin and lifestyle habits. If you like the results we achieve with the liquid facelift, you are welcome to come back to my rooms for regular touch up appointments.
