We hope you enjoy what follows!

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

The lips are particularly vulnerable as we age, because the outer layer becomes progressively thinner. Over time the corners of the mouth can begin to droop (mouth frown), the v-shaped area of the upper lip known as the cupid’s bow begins to flatten out and lips lose their youthful fullness.

Loss of volume and smokers lines can result in “lipstick bleeding”, drooping corners of the mouth and thin lips.
We can correct all of this with specific lip techniques, just come in and we’ll show you.

If you’d like to restore youthful fullness to your face, enjoy plump lips, enhance shallow contours or soften those facial creases and wrinkles, dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm may be the answer.

With specific reference to the lip we can use similar injection techniques to:
• Redefine the lip border,
• Rebuild your cupids bow,
• Lift the corners of the mouth,
• Add moisture to the lip,
• Correct smokers lines
• Add volume

Dermal fillers are a clear synthetic gel whose primary ingredient is hyaluronic acid. This naturally occurring sugar helps restore lost volume and lift the skin to smooth and soften the appearance of facial lines.

The hyaluronic acid in the dermal fillers attracts water molecules thathelp to hydrate the skin as well as restoring fullness resulting in a more refreshed, youthful appearance. That is why we can use it to shape and add volume naturally to the lip and lip line.

LIP SCULPTING

Lip-sculpting involves one or more combination of procedures to add volume and restore the youthful curves of the lips. To add more volume and softness, Dr Reddy will inject Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers under the skin of the lip. Additionally, she may decide to inject medium-density hyaluronic acid, into the lip muscle to add support to the structure of the mouth.

It is the same hyaluronic acid filler that is also used to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, acne scars and to help shape and add volume to thin lips.

Dr Reddy at Medi-Sculpt only uses approved dermal fillers for added safety.

Because everyone has different types of lips, your lip rejuvenation procedure will vary. To cater to the specific needs of a patient, it is important for Dr Reddy to observe the patient speaking and smiling naturally. This way, she can determine if the procedure is necessary, what the appropriate treatment methods are and if results will be favorable.

With a dermal filler lip treatment you can build subtle volume, add softness and smoothness by restoring the natural hydro-balance of your lips, all in one simple rejuvenating treatment.

Even small changes can make a big difference! This simple act of restoring moisture to the lip will also improve visibility of smokers lines and add volume to the lip simply by returning the lips to the moisture filled days of your youth.

We cannot stress it enough: At Medi-sculpt, our philosophy is to achieve very natural looking lips. Enhancing the lip area with fillers can include:

  • Adding body,
  • Defining the cupids bow,
  • Strengthening lip borders,
  • Filling vertical lip lines
  • Lifting mouth frown.

The entire lip contouring treatment only takes 20 minutes. Local anaesthetic is injected to minimize discomfort and you can return to normal activities afterward

You might be a little swollen, this is dependent on the individual and this swelling should resolve itself within a few hours or a day.

Results of a lip contouring treatment can last from 9 to 12 months. The hyaluronic acid formulation combine viscosity and elasticity which enables very effective filling as well as a greater resistance to lip deformity.
